Uggla and the Marlins agreed to terms on his 2010 salary, avoiding salary arbitration. That does not preclude the Marlins from trading him at some point. If Uggla does open the season in South Florida, he will be the club’s highest-paid player, topping the $7 million Hanley Ramirez will earn in the second year of his six-year, $70 million contract.
